The technology
Several tens of thousands of ST radicals are released every second through photocatalytic oxidation.
The special method of evaporation forces the ST radicals into the air in order to reach and destroy pathogens & pollutants.

ST radicals are highly reactive molecules that are able to damage the biologically relevant molecules such as DNA / RNA, proteins, carbohydrates and lipids in the cell nucleus and in the membranes of the virus cells.
ST radicals attack important macromolecules, which in viruses and bacteria leads to cell damage and homeostatic disorders, making them harmless. ST radicals alter all types of molecules in viruses and bacteria, with lipids, nucleic acids and proteins being the main targets.
How does it work
The STS contains rhodium, platinum ceramic catalyst.
The catalyst is heated up like in a car and creates so-called radicals, i.e. elements or molecules that have one electron too many or too few. It is a unique and patented method and only and exclusively available in the TAMYMED STS Airclean products.
There is a group of influenza drugs that carry radicals for a similar effect. Viruses are assassinated by free radicals. Since they float in the air and sink, they disinfect all corners and surfaces which are untouched by Airfilter System.
The free radicals can be inhaled because they have no depth effect and are very short-lived and have a disinfectant effect (not like OZON, which causes real damage), but live long enough to have an effect on surfaces in the room. This allows disinfection of up to 300 m3 of air in a very short time. The Radicals sink slowly on all surfaces and clean them.
The Product is free of maintenance, except an intake dust filter, which needs to be cleaned in water after some weeks. The need is indicated in the display. There are no outgoing materials needed e.g. no Replacement Filters. Therefore easy to deploy and to own.
